Hideaway started with a simple observation: Ithaca has plenty of places to grab a coffee and plenty of places to grab a drink — but very few that let you do both without feeling like you're in the wrong room.
We opened our doors on Eddy Street to fill that gap. By day, we're a neighborhood café with a focus on great coffee and a atmosphere calm enough to read, write, or simply sit with your thoughts. By night, the same space softens into a cocktail bar where the music dips lower and the glasses get more interesting.
No pretense. No dress code. Just a room that feels like it was made for people who like to linger.
