A quiet corner on Eddy Street where your morning pour-over turns into an evening old fashioned — no explanation needed.
Single-origin espresso, house-made pastries, and the kind of quiet that makes you forget your phone exists.
Craft cocktails stirred with intention, local spirits, and dim lighting that makes every conversation feel private.
Hideaway started with a simple observation: Ithaca has plenty of places to grab a coffee and plenty of places to grab a drink — but very few that let you do both without feeling like you're in the wrong room.
We opened our doors on Eddy Street to fill that gap. By day, we're a neighborhood café with a focus on great coffee and a atmosphere calm enough to read, write, or simply sit with your thoughts. By night, the same space softens into a cocktail bar where the music dips lower and the glasses get more interesting.
No pretense. No dress code. Just a room that feels like it was made for people who like to linger.
Every corner of Hideaway is designed for one thing: making you want to stay a little longer than you planned.
Right on Eddy Street, between the chaos of downtown and the calm of the side streets. Look for the warm glow and the plant on the sill.
